After receiving several requests from our previous students, TLALOC now focuses in having volunteers who are willing to help out in the areas that are available for volunteering/interning.

The only requirement is (in some areas) to speak Spanish good enough to get by; these participants have made a big difference in Cuernavaca´s poor communities & the surroundings by bringing a lot of donations and also by helping with the different areas where their participation was needed. Anyone can become part of this amazing program; this does not only help our poor people, but also has helped the participants to improve their Spanish skills!

Perhaps you´re a person who is currently studying in a community college or the university and would like to start practicing the vocabulary that goes according to your career. Therefore, it is a must for you to take part of these volunteering/internship areas that there are available at TLALOC.

Volunteering/internship job openings.

It is necessary for everyone to speak Spanish at least good enough to get by (please ask in what areas Spanish is not 100% needed). Take a look to the following openings TLALOC has available for you (although, we don't really work with other countries or states within Mexico, but you can always ask Tlaloc for help).

Your suggestions for a volunteering/internship are more than welcome.

• A Christian orphanage. 

This orphanage is willing to have anyone from anywhere as long as they want. No experience necessary, except that you everyone must speak Spanish good enough to get by.

Different governmental areas.

These are some especial non-profit government branches that have several different areas & specific departments where anyone can intern or volunteer for the following fields & areas:

• Domestic violence matters
• Child molesting (kids sexually abused "raped")
• Getting kids off the streets
• AIDS charity & orientation
• Women rights, Women center, Women with Cancer
• Drug and alcohol abuse and rehabilitation
• Young pregnancy
• Temporary orphanages
• Senior center "Elderly asylum"
• Childrens´ hospital and adult hospital
• Building/improving shelters & homes for people who work in the fields as same as the homeless, orphans or poor kids
• Education (English & computers for instance are welcome)
• Medical assistance (doctors, nurses and dentists)
• Reforesting (planting trees)
• Law enforcement (Police officers, lawyers, judges, etc)
  IN SOME CASES ROOM & BOARD IS PROVIDED FOR FREE!

English teaching.

There are several kids who would like to learn the language; therefore, this could be a great chance for anyone to provide their knowledge.

Human Rights

This job can be for anyone with or without previous experience in this area which is a nice opportunity for lawyers. This is a non-profit organization that helps victims from any unrighteous situation.

Journalism

We have an agreement with a local newspaper that already has an English column, but from time to time, they need people who would like to help them in writing some local news in English. (We might also have this same journalism agreement with a huge local radio station in the near future)

Industrial Design Opportunity

Design and manufacture of various automotive body kits, automotive lighting, Fog lights etc, plus POS, expo stands and packaging design. The wage is $100.00 USD per week. Speaking Spanish & having experience in the field is a must!

Restaurant and hotels

There are plenty of hotels and restaurants in towns where you can be a water/waitress, host/hostess, etc...

Veterinarian assistance

A private Veterinary is seeking for people worldwide to assist him with the different pets that need to be taken care off.  
Let us know if you don't find anything above that will accomplish your desires so that we can do our best to get whatever it is that you need.

Tourism

There´s an agency within the city that allows people (local and foreigners) to practice by providing info to the tourist (this is a great opportunity to practice the language and learn Mexican history) 

Animal Protection Association

There are different animals that need taken care of like be fed and taken a bath.

Helping people with different disabilities (blind, deft, dumb, etc)

This a new area that we´re just barely starting to get help, no one has been asking about it so far, but there are a lot of people (specially children) who have different disabilities and need your help.
